How To Improve Your Foot Speed

Come on Twinkle Toes . . . You Can Do It

It doesn’t really matter which is your sport of choice, being able to move your feet even faster (without tripping over yourself) is gonna’ improve your game and make you even more of an awesome contender, okay, it might not help with golf, or darts, or scrabble, but I’m thinking of proper sports like football, baseball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, badminton . . . you know, stuff like that.

One really great way to improve your foot speed is to do a little speed ladder training, or actually, a lot of speed ladder training to really help your game. All of the professionals know about the advantages of training with a speed ladder, and the beauty of this type of exercise program is that you don’t even need to use a proper speed ladder, you can literally mark out your own.

Speed ladder training and exercises really isn’t anything new, you probably enjoyed it as a child without even thinking about what you were doing – I’m thinking that old playground favorite Hopscotch or the bunny hops your Phys Ed teacher drilled into your lessons. Of course, once you start to get the hang of it and can control your feet at even greater speeds and repetition, you’ll be ready to take on the more advanced challenges and drills. All speed ladder training has the same simple goal, to improve the speed of your feet, to improve your agility, to improve your fitness, all in all, to improve your game.
