Treadmill Buying Tips – eBay

TREADMILL BUYING TIPS

I bought a used Landice L7 and an L8. They list for over $3,500 each and I bought them used on craigslist.org for $1,000 each. These are workhorses of treadmills. It took about 2 months of searching craigslist and ebay to find one at an affordable price.

For ebay you can set up a “saved search.” Here is how you do it… and you can be automatically emailed when a new listing for your treadmill is listed. Please note that for most of the used treadmills, a local pick-up only is available.

Saving a search

To save a search:

Search for something that interests you – like a treadmill with make or model number

Locate the search box at the top of the page. Enter two or three words that describe what you’re looking for and click the Search button.

To quickly narrow your search results, use the Refine search section on the left side of your search results. Your saved search includes both your search words and any search options you select.

Click the “Save this search” link at the top of your search results.

From here you can:

Name the search

Request email notification of new items that match this search. We’ll send you one email a day, containing up to 20 matching items. Clear the check box if you don’t want to receive any emails.

Click Save.

Running a saved search
Once you’ve saved a search, you can get the search results at any time.

To run a saved search:
Click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages.

From the Activity tab, under the Organize heading, click Saved searches.

Click the “Go to search results” link to the right of your saved search.

Tip: To see a summary of your saved search results in My eBay, rather than a separate results page, click the arrow to the left of your saved search.

Receiving email notifications for saved searches

To get notified by email about new items matching your saved search:
Click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages.

From the Activity tab, under the Organize heading, click Saved searches.

From the “Go to search results” drop-down menu to the right of your saved search, choose “Sign up for emails.”

Select the option for daily email notifications and choose how long you want to get daily emails.

Click the Save button.

In this video interview eBay consultant Allison Hartsoe explains how to use the Terapeak research tool to assess overall sales for a category or product and determine average sales price, so that you can determine net sales costs and whether product sales on eBay will be profitable for your company.

eBay consultant Allison Hartsoe offers several tips to help sellers optimize sales on eBay. eBay Pulse displays popular keywords that should be included in product titles. The volume of products listed in eBay’s core auction area determines one’s sales growth potential. Don’t pay optional listing fees except for ‘gallery.’ Detailed Seller Ratings (DSRs) affect both search rankings and sales potential, so customer service must be primary.
